Aside from undead, one of the largest threats to mankind is the Orcs. There are two main types of orcs, the green-skinned orcs that live in fields, forests and swamps and the red-skinned orcs, that live in caves, burrows and mountains.

Orcs are a very warlike race and are divided into tribes. Despite working together to rampage and plunder even different orc tribes may fight against each other for territory and resources on occasion.

Orcs are often about as large as men, sometimes a little bit taller, but have much greater strength. Orcs craft very crude and often very heavy (by human standards) weapons and armor that they use for combat. While orcs frequently capture large amounts of treasure from the human and elf cities that they plunder, they rarely adopt human weapons.

On rare occasions orcs will speak with members of civilized races and in even more rare circumstances lone orcs may join with other groups of human or elf adventurers.
