There are several other intelligent or semi-intelligent races of creatures that exist in small numbers and are generally hostile towards the major civilized races (humans, orcs, dwarves):
Centaurs (horse body with the upper body of a man)
Ogres (giant, only mildly intelligent [even less intelligent than orcs] beasts that use crude weapons like boulders or logs)
Giants (huge, very muscular people, averaging 20 feet in height, that often live in mountains in small groups)
Cyclops (like giants but much less intelligent, often living alone, and with a single eye in the center of their skull.fFrequently enjoy cooking and eating humans and elves. Some may have a horn or horns on their head)
Minotaurs (fairly intelligent but beast-like race. They have no civilized interaction with humans/elves. They are like a giant bull that walks on two legs with hoofed feet and has hands. Minotaurs often craft high quality weapons and armor and are known to construct very large towers. Most minotaurs then spend their time guarding their tower from intruders. Lower ranking minotaurs may be put to work in mines and minotaurs are known to be involved in slave trading, capturing humans, elves, orcs, or anyone capable of working in a mine)
