Gnostaria June Update
A ton of progress has been made over the past several months. We recently changed which rendering engine we were using and now take advantage of many DirectX 9 features including shaders and normal maps. Slowly but steadily artwork and other content have been streaming in and being integrated.
Another major development has been the overhaul of the GUI system. We recently created custom skins for many GUI elements and made nearly everything that displays information for a player moveable and in some cases resizable. Players can customize their screen layouts however they want.
Many new screenshots have been added to the screenshot gallery demonstrating various stages of development and many of the new features that have been implemented. We’ve also made changes to our back-end infrastructure which significantly improves performance and scalability of our servers.
Finally many good discussions have been taking place in our forums. The latest information and discussions regarding Gnostaria can usually be found there. There has been a ton of great feedback and we are taking it all into consideration as we continue to develop the game.
